Maia is a hidden little gem in the heart of West Hollywood. Enter through an unassuming entrance and you're transported to an unabashedly-LA-hip restaurant. There's a chic dining space to the left and an enchanting outdoor patio area, complete with twinkling lights and indoor trees. Quintessential LA.
Serving a menu of New American dishes influenced by Latin and Asian recipes, the restaurant project is helmed by JT Torregiani, a Southern California native who first got involved in the restaurant and hospitality business in the 90’s. Maia was opened on Sunset Boulevard just last fall and serves as a great spot for the local Hollywood cool crowd. If you’re looking for that trendy, posh and plush vibe, this is the place to go.
Our dishes of choice are Evening Glow and the Maia Roll. The Maia Roll is a genius combination spicy salmon, asparagus, diver scallop, strawberry and black & yellow tobiko. For a slightly more traditional roll, go for the Evening Glow - consisting of crispy shrimp, lobster spicy tuna, cucumber, lotus root and eel sauce. Sounds delicious, no?
From classic, more traditional sashimi and sushi dishes to their signature, more creative rolls, there's something for everyone at Maia.
